Donating to the Norfolk Venda Educational Project:
We are very grateful to many individuals who have donated so generously to the Project. Your contributions have already made a significant difference to the lives of these children in Venda.
In addition to private donations we have organised a number of fund-raising events and involved several Norfolk schools. Local Companies have made generous donations and we are exceptionally grateful to receive the very generous backing of a Suffolk based Charity.
Unfortunately there are many schools in the Venda region that lack the basic facilities that give children a fair start in their education.
We are striving to raise the level of provision in all schools to that which we have achieved at Tshadzume School.
ASPIRATIONS……..there is much more work to be done.
All schools require better educational provisions in all subject areas especially science, maths and the arts.
Now that these three schools have a water supply the emphasis will be to provide hygienic flush toilets.
We have been approached by the local schools inspectorate with a request to support Khalilale Primary School, which will be our fourth school, and is in desperate need of new classrooms and furniture.
